Going Digital is a publication with a practical orientation. It appears four times a year as an online publication of around 25 pages.
The editorial concept provides for practice-oriented articles on all issues of digitization that are essential for business practice and the legal market, as well as on the topics of cyber security, data protection and IT. National and international developments are taken into account. Renowned external authors from legal departments and law firms report on current developments. Further contributions by renowned external authors (for example practice-oriented university lecturers) round off the journalistic offering.
The Going Digital Magazine is a joint publication of the F.A.Z. BUSINESS MEDIA GmbH – Ein Unternehmen der F.A.Z.-Gruppe, and German Law Publishers. It is a member of the Deutscher AnwaltSpiegel product family. Our aim and mission are to inform you, our readers, about current legal issues that play an important role in your daily legal activities. In preparing the magazine, we work with a number of strategic partners – all highly regarded national and international law firms. They, too, will share their comprehensive legal knowledge with you. Additional support is provided by our respected cooperation partners – the world’s leading German chambers of commerce abroad, the Social & Labor Affairs committee of AmCham Germany and the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe. The magazine’s editorial staff also works closely with an advisory board made up of highly regarded experts.
All of these partners play an active role in the magazine’s production. Each of them is committed to ensuring that Going Digital Magazine contains articles that will both interest you, our readers, and provide you with immediate value and an information edge. We would be happy to welcome you as a subscriber.
It is not intended to publish legal essays in the classical sense. Instead, they are presented in a professional journalistic manner, and are therefore easy to understand, attractive and easy for the reader to digest. The journalistic presentation of Going Digital is comparable to the coverage in the Deutscher AnwaltSpiegel, in the DisputeResolution and on the pages “Recht & Steuern” in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
The target groups of Going Digital Business are primarily professionals who must remain informed on a regular basis about developments in this area, especially Corporate lawyers and COOs of legal departments, attorneys, compliance officers, managing directors, management boards, supervisory boards and university professors.
Since the content of this online magazine focuses on relevant practical topics, the publication is widely distributed in the law departments of medium-sized and large companies in Germany as well as in the aforementioned other main target groups. In addition, Going Digital is relevant for German lawyer and consulting associations as well as the market for tax consultants and auditors.
A key component of the concept of Going Digital is our close cooperation with selected law firms and auditors as strategic partners. Furthermore, we collaborate with prestigious cooperation partners – for example like the University of St. Gallen and Said Business School, University of Oxford. The relevant legal tech service providers in the legal market are also part of the magazine concept in order to cover all sides of the market.
In addition, we cooperate with the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the world`s largest organization for In-house lawyers, the leading US procurement association Buying Legal Council, the think tank Liquid Legal Institute as well as with numerous German chambers of commerce abroad worldwide. These partners ensure the international distribution of Going Digital. This is done with a direct focus on the target group of companies.
